Partly dentate, silver grey leaves and long spikes.

Bush is semi-open to dense and quite large.

Peduncles are long, grey green with dense wooly hair. Spikes are long.

Fertile bracts are suffused with violet. Corollas are rich violet blue and calyces green and violet. Sterile bracts are violet blue.

Try planting against a sunny wall.
