Dentata var candicans
Most common form. Much larger bush. Hardier than dentata var dentata. Leaves have dense wooly hairs. Peduncles are long.
Sterile bracts are lavender violet. Corollas a light violet blue and darker around edges. Calyces green with violet tips.
Plant is mostly upright and bushy making it highly suitable for hedging and as an ornamental plant in warmer areas.
Grow it on the sunny side of house where it will flower most of the year
